i have to write a 15-20 pg. paper for my film class, and i'm looking to write about either the development of musical film in the context of postmodernism *or* using the genre of the musical as evidence of the development of postmodernism. (ie. something very very intellectual in nature, which makes it a *very* distinct possibility that i'll fuck it up.) knowing that we've at least one film buff here that i can think of off the top of my head, and most definitely at least one or two more, i thought i'd ask if anyone has any ideas for sources or films that i could use in my investigation, or even just pointers in the right direction. if so, please, email me. if not, sorry i wasted your time.

I've taken on a last minute audition for the the college of santa fe and I'm wondering if anybody's read any plays lately with good monologues for youngish female characters. This question is mostly for bloggers who've been in plays with me before, but I'm open to suggestions from anybody. I've gone over a few things from past plays, but I'm sort of looking for something new, if anybody's got any ideas post 'em up or e mail me. Thanks!
